The Skeletons Key has a blog!
Greetings! This is the first blog from TheSkeletonsKey and I am excited to start!
Skeleton keys have always fascinated me; rusty, bent, or broken! Each nick or rust spot is unique to that key alone and came from some kind of wear and tear. Abandoned keys hold a sense of mystery and wonder...who did this key belong to? what did it unlock? why was it lost? what kind of room or treasure did this key uncover when twisted inside a lock? The questions are endless and imagination can run a muck when holding a key in your hand.
This is why I put my interest in keys into making unique jewelry with them. I use everything from real antique skeleton keys to skeleton key charms and pendants. My jewelry embraces some steampunk aspects along with Gothic, pirate and whimsical touches! Each piece is unique and holds its own mystery and has it's own story. My shoppe has been in business for over a year and I keep adding more mystery to it with every key! I hope you can take a look beyond the keyhole with me and find a key that unlocks what you are searching for.
I will have more to come with photos, links, promotions and other offers! Please feel free to visit the shoppe here: TheSkeletonsKey
And join me on Facebook as well! http://www.facebook.com/TheSkeletonsKey
